2 of these five M305 mouse units were mine, the other 3 were co-workers who also liked them after my recommendation

It’s my all time favorite mouse. I love this product so much, I have 4 of them. Just in case one breaks, I have 3 more backups so I should be set until something better than a mouse is finally invented because I don’t think I will ever want any other mouse until then.

Great Design

The feel of the M305 and the button pressure is perfect. Even later and more expensive Logitech Mouse units that I’ve purchased after (they came with wireless keyboard/mouse combo kits) don’t compare to the all around ideal feeling this mouse gives. In fact, I put the mouse that came with my combo keyboard packages away in a drawer and use up another usb port just so I can have the m305 at my reach.

Great Feel

I am a really picky guy when it comes to my technology. I get annoyed easily when things don’t work like I expect them to and will immediately look to replace things that are sub-par rather than “tolerate” them like I see so many other people do. I’ve used many many wireless mouse brands and models, and carry my own backup mouse in case I need to be at someone’s computer for a long period of time who has a mouse that is less than sensitive and/or comfortable. I also require a mouse click that is not too hard to press, or overly sensitive that the weight of my fingers are too much for it. Thankfully, all the M305’s I’ve ever used have been made the exactly the same and I’ve never had to deal with one that I was not happy with. In fact, my last office had 6 of us using the Logitech M305 because of the way I raved about them.

Best of All, Great Price!

The m305’s price point is absolutely a mind blower for me. Most of the time, you can find it around town at your local office supply store for $20 or less. In fact, I found one at Fry’s for $19 AND it had a $10 mail in rebate on top of the sale price! So it was only $9 after my rebates were received. List price for the unit looks to be around $45, but you won’t have to look too hard for a better price. I think regular retail price at most places run around $30, which is still a great deal for this product.

Hidden Dongle Holder – A Life Saver

As a final added “sweet icing to the cake” design benefit, the M305 also has a holder to put the usb antenna dongle piece inside the battery area for safe keeping when its not left in a usb port. This has undoubtedly kept me from losing the usb antenna, like I have on other things that had such a small part that wasn’t mounted somewhere.
