Here’s The Secret “Sauce” To Internet Business Success
If your a beginner to internet marketing, here’s what you’ll need to do first to build a strong foundation that will help you get started and hopefully keep you going.
First, go rent a movie. Yup, you read that right, go rent the movie called “Julie and Julia” and try to sit through the whole thing while taking mental notes of the frustrations that both women go through while working to accomplish their goals. YOU will encounter frustrations, and when you do, you must remind yourself it is part of the natural path to success. If you don’t get frustrated at sometime during the process, I honestly feel your not stretching yourself.
Next, prepare yourself to write blog articles that have at least 350 words for 30 days straight, just one per day. If you must, as hard as it may be, do it when you normally watch TV. (I can hear the moans now) Know that consistency is the “muscle” that needs to be worked in order for an internet business to grow into a money making machine. It’s not an easy task, especially in the beginning, but it can be done. Once you complete the 30 days, you’ll find it easier and almost automatic. Find an accountability partner and do it together if you need motivation, a little competition is great for projects like this. You need to reach a point where its very uncomfortable when you can’t do something to your website for the day. That’s how you know your on track.
Do something you love and that others love too
Hard core blogging and writing content about things people (and you) have an interest in is a key factor when beginning. Find a niche you like to talk about. The kind of niche that gets your heart racing and that you can talk about all day long with people who have a common interest. It should be a subject that you follow all the time in the news or on the internet and knowledgeable about where people come to you when they want to know more about the subject. When you sit down to write, it should flow from inside you fairly easily. If you need to do research, you’re putting yourself in a position where it will be easier to fail because research takes time and you won’t sound as fluid in your content. Remember, you need 30 days of stuff to write about.
OK…Then What? How’s That Make Anyone Rich?
All in all, what I’ve said above is not that difficult for some, but too difficult for most to accomplish. If you can do 30 articles that have 350+ words in them each for 30 days straight, I truly feel you now have 95% of the tools (muscles) you need to make some income on the internet.
That’s the secret to success, and the rest is REALLY simple. Just keep going with the content building and start to monetize what you’ve already made while doing minor changes to the way you write your content. If you think 30 days is too long to “workout” before getting started, then I personally feel you’ll have a hard time succeeding at this. All the great internet marketers who make anything on the internet worked hard and still do. This is not a get rich easy and quick scheme, it’s a real living that can blow your mind with how much money can be made.
Your internet money making machine will now have the gas it deserves to start making some income.
Very soon, I am starting a new “website monetization” series on different ways to monetize your site. Keep an eye out for future posts on “How to Monetize Your Website or Blog”.
